Emergency information

If you are experiencing a medical emergency dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What happens if I am a new patient?

You may have referred yourself, have been referred by another specialist or by your insurance provider. We will discuss your problem and ask about your medical history. A thorough examination will follow. We may request further tests to assist and support our diagnosis.

If you have previous examinations and tests related to your current condition, please bring those along to the consultation. Also bring any copies of letters from other doctors or recent medication. It will help us to help you.

Do you examine children at your clinic?

Yes. Dr. Sima sees patients age 7 and up.

Do I need referral?

Do you perform outpatient joint replacement?

Yes, for patients who are well-motivated and medically optimized. We are very excited to offer outpatient anterior total hip replacement surgery, total knee replacement surgery and unicompartmental knee replacement to our select patients.

Do you perform anterior total hip replacement?

Dr. Sima has been performing Anterior Hip Replacement for the past 10 years. He believes it is a far superior approach when compared to the more traditional posterior approach.

Dr. Sima has trained with Joel Matta, MD, the pioneer of the Anterior approach to Hip Replacement while in his residency and also through multiple training courses over the past 10 years for complex and revision hip replacement surgery.

Do you perform PRP and stem cell injections?

Yes. We are well versed, have attended multiple labs and training courses and have offered these services to our patients for the past 3 years.

If I get hurt at work can you be my work comp doctor?

Ask your employer for the Predesignation of personal physician form. The form is also available in the “download forms” tab at the top of our website for your convenience.
